We see clients from Dr. Phillips at our office on Conroy Windermere Road, about five minutes west of the neighbourhood. It means an appointment without going into Orlando proper.

Why people come out this way

Dr. Phillips is well served for most things and thinner for therapy, particularly if you would rather not be inside a large group practice seeing a different clinician every few months. Here there are two therapists, Judy Irizarry and Nuria Clarke-Farghason.

What we work on

Anxiety and panic, depression, and trauma. We use EMDR for trauma and PTSD, and DBT skills where emotions run hot and fast. We also see couples and teenagers from age ten.

Private pay, no insurance billing, $195 a session. The fees page has the rest, and parking here is free. If getting to Windermere is difficult, we also work across Florida by telehealth.

What a first session is like

The first session is mostly you talking and us listening. We will ask what brought you, what you have already tried, and what you want to be different. Nothing is decided in that hour beyond whether it makes sense to carry on, and you are not committing to a course of anything by booking one.
